Tedarikçi Seçme Ve Değerlendirme Süreci Ve Bir Tekstil Firmasında Uygulama

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, tedarikçi seçim ve değerlendirme sistemleri incelenerek, mevcut literatürdeki yöntemlere değinilmiştir. Bu sistemlerin yanı sıra alıcı-tedarikçi ilişkileri gözden geçirilmiş, tedarik zinciri yönetimi kavramından bahsedilerek, satınalma fonksiyonunun önemine değinilmiştir. Uygulama kısmında ise bir tekstil firmasında kritik olan kumaş dokuma ve boyama süreçlerinin tedarikçi seçim işlemi için lineer programlama ve AHP yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Çıktıları mevcut sistemle karşılaştırarak sistemin iyileştirilmesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, günümüzde çoğu işletmenin tedarikçi seçiminde kullandığı sezgisel yöntemlerin eksikliğini göstermek ve işletmelerin yapısına uygun yönetimsel karar verme yöntemlerinin kullanılarak doğru tedarikçi/tedarikçilerin seçimini sağlamaktır. Ayrıca, bu çalışma tedarikçi seçiminde maliyet unsurunun kalite kriterine göre daha öncelikli olduğunu göstermeye çalışmaktadır. Bu açıdan uygulama kısmında tedarikçi seçiminde kullanılan kriterler arasında maliyet ve kaliteyi gösterir kriterlerin bulundurulmasına dikkat edilmiştir. Uygulama aşaması iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde dört adet tedarikçi değerlendirme kapsamına alınmıştır. Ancak seminer sonrası tedarikçi sayısının arttırılmasına karar verildiği için uygulamanın ikinci aşaması oluşturulmuştur. İkinci aşamada 16 adet tedarikçi ilk bölümde uygulanan VZA, PEG ve AHP yöntemleri ile incelenmiştir. Her iki aşamadaki sonuçların incelenmesinin yöntemlerin uygulanışı açısından daha faydalı olacaktır. Değerlendirme bölümünde tedarikçilerin mevcut sistemdeki yerlerine değinilerek , matematiksel yöntemler kullanılarak oluşan sonuçlar kıyaslanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, yapılan çalışma tekstil sektöründe tedarikçi seçimi ve değerlendirmesi açısından bir örnek teşkil etmektedir ve gelecekteki çalışmalar için de bir ilk adım oluşturmaktadır.

In this study, supplier selection and evaulation systems and avaiable methods in literature are studied. Beside these systems, buyer-supplier relations and supply chain management concepts are studied and the importance of the purchasing function is mentioned. In application section of the thesis, linear programming and AHP methods are used for the selection of suppliers of the weaving and dyeing process which are critical for a textile company. The results are compared with the existing system and suggestions are made to improve the system. Aim of this study is to prove the deficiency of the heuristic methods which are used by most of the firms nowadays and to select the right supplier/s by using the managerial decision methods which are suitable for the firm. Moreover, this study is trying to prove that the cost criterion is more important than the quality criterion when selecting a supplier. For this reason, in the application part of the study the criteria which is relevant with the cost and quality are used. Application chapter is divided into two main parts. In the first part, four suppliers are taken into consideration. But after the seminar, it is advised to increase the number of the suppliers so the second part of the application is formed. In the second part of the application 16 suppliers are studied with the same methods DEA,PEG and AHP methods which are used in the first part. It will be useful to study both of the application parts to understand the methods better. In the evaluation part of the study, the suppliers in the existing system are studied and compared with the results of the mathematical methods. To sum up, tihs study is an example of the selection and evaluation of the suppliers in textile sector and will be a model for the future researches.
