Eminönü- Hanlar Bölgesinin Cumhuriyet’ten Günümüze İzlenen Değişimi Ve Yeniden Değerlendirilmesinde Öncelikli Bölgenin

Abstract

Bu çalışmada 16-19. yüzyıllar arasında kent merkezi olan Hanlar Bölgesi’nin bugüne kadar geçirdiği dönemler ve kırılma noktaları anlatılmış, bölgenin fiziksel ve sosyal yönden bir köhneme bölgesi haline geldiği tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre bölgede Yeniden Canlandırma Projesi yapılmalıdır. Ancak alan olarak büyük, içerik olarak oldukça kompleks olan bu alanda tek etapta bir proje yapmak oldukça zordur; bu nedenle projeye nereden başlanacağına dair bir önhazırlık çalışması yapılmalıdır. Bunun için bölgenin karakteristik yapısı olan hanlar korunmuşluk düzeylerine göre incelenmiş ve bir katalog oluşturulmuştur. Bu katalog bilgilerine göre hanlar bir matris tablosu ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmede amaç ‘yeniden canlandırılması optimum olan bölge’yi bulmaya yönelik olarak ‘müdahalesi aciliyet gerektiren hanlar’ı tespit etmektir. Buna göre ticaret hanlarının en yoğun olduğu Kapalıçarşı-Mercan bölgesi öncelikli bölge olarak saptanmıştır. Çünkü buradaki hanlar ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve fiziki yönden müdahelesi en fazla aciliyet gerektiren hanlardır.

In this study the change of the khans zone which was the city center in the 15-19 th Century from that period to today is explained with its breaking points. It is determined that the zone lost this property today and became a dead part of the city today. According to this there must be made a Rebuilding Project at the region. But it is so hard to make such a project in this region at one stage because of its big area and complex structure; so there must be made an arrangement study before. The khans those are the characteristic constructions of the zone are examined and a catalogue is prepared according to their protected level. At a matrix table the khans are determined; the objective in this determination is to find the ‘optimum region for rebuilding’ by fixing the ‘khans those need urgent rebuilding’. The Grandbazaar-Mercan region is fixed as the optimum region for rebuilding, because the khans in this region are the most urgent khans need rebuilding in economic, social, cultural and physical respects.
