About The Structures Of Non-Abelian Groups Of Order pq³

Abstract

Çalışmamızın amacı pq3 mertebeli grupların nilpotent olmaları için yeterli koşullar bulmaktır. Abelyen gruplar nilpotenttir. Beri yandan, abelyen olmayan bir grubun sylow alt grupları abelyense, bu kez de grup nilpotent değildir. Çünkü, nilpotent gruplar sylow alt gruplarının direk çarpımıdırlar ve abelyen grupların direk çarpımları da abelyen olur. Dolayısıyla, biz çalışmamızda yalnızca pq3 mertebeli bir grubun q-sylow alt grubunun abelyen olmadığı durumu ele aldık ve sonuçlarımızı da bu durumu göz nünde bulundurarak ifade ettik.

Aim of our study is to find sufficient conditions for groups of order pq3 to be nilpotent. Abelian groups are nilpotent. On the other hand, if the sylow subgroups of a non-abelian group of order pq3 are abelian; this time, the group is not nilpotent. Because nilpotent groups are direct products of their sylow subgroups and direct products of abelian groups are abelian. Therefore, in our study, we handled only the case of a non-abelian group of order pq3 whose q-sylow subgroup is not abelian and we stated our results regarding this case.
