Hızlı prototipleme teknolojilerinin ürün tasarımı ve yeni ürün geliştirme süreçlerindeki rolü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada ürün geliştirme ve ürün tasarımı süreci hakkında yapılan geniş literatür araştırması sonucu elde edilen bilgiler derlenmiş, ürün, yeni ürün geliştirme, model ve protoip kavramlarına ait tanımlamalar incelenmiş ve bu sürec içerisinde fiziksel model ve prototip kavramlarının yeri üzerinde durulmuştur. Gelişmekte olan hızlı prototip teknolojilerinin neler oldukları, temel prensipleri ile birilikte açıklanmış, sınıflandırmaları yapılmıştır. Bu teknolojilerin ürün geliştirme ve ürün tasarımı süreçlerine olan etkilerinin neler oldukları araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları bu konuda uygulamaları içeren iki adet vaka çalışması ile sorgulanmıştır.

In this study, after a wide literature survey about the product development and product design processes, the obtained information are gathered as a whole. The terms product, new product development, model and prototype are examined carefully and the importance of these concepts are mentioned. The rapid prototyping technologies are examined with principles and classifications. The effects of rapid prototyping and especially rapid prototyping technologies in new product development processes are studied. The research findings are investigated with two product development case studies which have rapid prototyping applications.
