Müzik Ve Mimarlığın Kompozisyon Bağlamında İncelenmesi

Abstract

Müzik ve mimarlığın kompozisyon dili bağlamında ilişkilerini araştıran ve tartışmaya açan bu tez; her iki disiplinin birbirleriyle ve diğer sanat dallarıyla olan bağlantılarını, tarihsel süreçteki gelişimlerinde kurmuş oldukları ilişkileri ve kompozisyon tekniklerini karşılaştırılmalı olarak inceler. Tezin içinde, müzik ve mimarlığın sanatlar içindeki genel pozisyonu irdelenmiş, buradan çıkan sonuçlar doğrultusunda müzik ve mimarlık sanatları tarihsel gelişimleri de dahil edilerek birbirleriyle mukayese edilmiştir. Müzik ve mimarlık ürünlerinin birer kompozisyon olduğu kabulünden yola çıkılarak, ortak tasarım dilleri ve ilişkileri, kompozisyonu meydana getiren dört ana başlık altında incelenmiştir: Ritim, Armoni, Doku ve Tema. Bu araştırmanın temel önermesi: Müzikal kompozisyonu yapısal, işitsel, kavramsal, kuramsal vb. yönlerden analiz edebilmenin mimari tasarıma her yönden katkı sağlayabileceğidir. Bu önermeyi yapmaktaki amaç, müzik ve mimarlık sanatları arasında kompozisyonel anlamdaki benzerlikleri tartışmaya açarak, bu benzerlikleri faydacı bir şekilde kullanacak öneriler sunmaktır.

Researching the relationship between music and architecture in terms of construction basis, this thesis mainly concerns about the connections of these two particular art form in both historical and technical point of view. In the thesis, the position of both architecture and music has been investigated among the other art forms; Thus, the results have been examined to find a correlation between them through out the history. Accepting both musical and architectural products are called as composition, common design terminology as well as the produciton techniques are analyzed in four main header: Rhythm, Harmony, Texture and Theme. The main proposition of this thesis is; being able to analyze the musical composition in structural, aural, conceptual and theoretical concepts would contribute to the arcitectural thinking. The main goal of this hypothesis is to discuss the compositional similarities between architecture and music whilst to find pragmatist solutions out of it.
