Isıtma Sektöründe Yer Alan Bir Firmada Iso 14000 Çys Performansının Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı Aracılığıyla Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ÇYS uygulayan firmaların sistem performanslarını Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı aracılığı ile değerlendirmelerine yönelik bir uygulama modeli ortaya koymaktır. Birçok işletme, ilgili kurumlar, yasal kuruluşlar, müşteriler ve rakipleri tarafından baskılar arttıkça, çevresel performansını artırmak için çalışmalar yürütmektedirler. İşletmeler, kendi bünyelerinde endüstriyel aktivitelerinin, ürünlerinin veya hizmetlerinin çevre üzerine olan etkilerini, ilgili yönetmelik, ekonomik politikalar ve bunun gibi çevre korumasını ve ilgili kurumların çevre konusunda bilinçlenmesini öngören faaliyetler çerçevesinde kontrol etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, ilk önce ISO 14000 ÇYS üzerinde durulmuş, konuyla ilgili kavramlar hakkında bilgi verilmiş, ÇYS standartları açıklanmış, kuruluşlara sağladığı yararlardan bahsedilmiştir. İkinci olarak, bir hedeflerle performans yönetimi metodu olan Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı metodu açıklanmış, metodun ÇYS’ne uygulanması incelenmiştir. Uygulama bölümünde ise, önce Bosch Buderus Termoteknik firması hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiş, misyon ve vizyonu açıklanmıştır. Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı oluşturulması için izlenecek metot ve Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı adımları tanımlanmış, firma için önce genel bir Dengelenmiş Skor Kartı daha sonra da ÇYS performans ölçümü için bir Dengelenmiş Çevre Skor Kartı oluşturulmuştur ve firmaya önerilmiştir. Son olarak da, hesaplama metodu anlatılmış, bütçe entegrasyonu, sistemin takibi ve güncellenmesi gibi konulara yer verilmiştir.

The main objective of this study is to bring up an application model in order to measure the system performance via Balanced Scorecard for the companies that apply an Environment Management System. Organizations in all kinds are increasingly concerned how to achieve and demonstrate environmental performance as the pressure from interested parties such as legislators, customers, competitors increases. They try to control the potential impacts of their activities, products or services on the environment. They do so in the context of related legislations, the development of economics policies and other measures which enforce environmental awareness of interested parties. In this study, firstly ISO 14000 Environment Management System has been mentioned, the expressions concerning this issue have been given, ISO 14000 Environment Management System standards and the advantages for the organizations have been explained. Secondly, the Balanced Scorecard method, which is a goal oriented organizational performance method, has been explained and the aplication on the Environment Management System has been studied. In the practise part, firstly general information of Bosch Buderus Thermotechnology has been given and its mission and vision have been explained. The method and its steps for building up the Balanced Scorecard have been defined, first a general Balanced Scorecard and then a Balanced Environmental Scorecard for measuring the environmental performance have been constituted and suggested to the company. At the end, the calculation method has been explained, issues like budget integration, system follow-up and system update have been mentioned.
