| dc.description.abstract | Metropolitenleşme ve buna bağlı olarak yaşanan sanayi sonrası ekonomik transformasyon süreci, şehirlerin fonksiyonlarını radikal bir şekilde değiştirmiş, ekonomik faaliyetlerin mekansal dağılımını etkileyerek, şehirlerin ve merkezlerinin köhnemesine yol açmıştır. Bu süreç 19. yüzyıldan beri ülkemizde de yaşanmakta olup, İstanbul Tarihi Yarımadası üzerinde çok yıpratıcı sonuçları görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, dünyada ve ülkemizde yaşanan globalleşme sürecini ortaya koyarak, bu sürecin iyi ve kötü yönlerini bulmak ve Tarihi Yarımada’nın içinde bulunduğu olumsuz koşullardan kurtarmak için gerekli olan yeniden yapılanmayı uygulayabilecek bir yöntem geliştirmektir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Metropolitan growth and the post-economic transformation process has radically changed the functions of the urban areas by effecting the locational distribution of economic activities and leaving city centers to be dilapidated. This process has also been taking place in Turkey and the destructive effects of this process gave harm to the Historic Peninsula of Istanbul. The main aim of this study is to put forward the global economic process which occurs both over the world and in Turkey, to prepare a method for the redevelopment of Historic Peninsula of Istanbul with the help of finding out the advantages and disadvantages of this process. | en_US |
