Konut Mekan Kurgusunun İstanbul Ve Gaziantep'te Kültürlerarası Karşılaştırma Yöntemi İle Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, konut formunu etkileyen kültürel faktörlerin zamana bağlı değişiminin, İstanbul ve Gaziantep kentleri örneğinde incelenmesi ve kültürlerarası karşılaştırma yöntemi ile İstanbul kentinin Gaziantep kenti üzerine etkilerinin tesbiti amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çerçevede çevre – davranış çalışmalarına ait modellerin tez ile ilgili olan “davranışsal, ekolojik, çevresel tercih ve sosyo – kültürel” modelleri anlatılarak, “konut ve çevre – davranış model” ilişkisi kurulmaktadır. Kültür kavramı, kültürel değişim yöntemleri, konut mekanını etkileyen makro ve mikro ölçekteki kültürel faktörler tanımlanarak İstanbul ve Gaziantep kentleri arasındaki konut mekan kurgusunun değişiminin değerlendirilmesinde seçilen “kültürlerarası karşılaştırma yönetimi” tanıtılmaktadır. Her iki kent için kronolojik bir çalışma sonunda, konut mekanını etkileyen olaylar ve sonuçları elde edilmiş; bu kentlerdeki konut tiplerinin ilk uygulandıkları zamana göre kesişme noktaları tesbit edilmiştir.

This thesis is an evaluation of the cross - culture based factors, which shape housing spaces and their physical image over the history in Istanbul and Gaziantep provinces. The aim of this thesis is also to find out how and when the dwelling types in Istanbul have started to affect the housing spaces in Gaziantep. In this respect, the environment- behaviour theory and its sub-models related to this thesis, such as behavioural, ecological, environmental preferences and socio–cultural models are defined and the relationship between the housing space and the environment–behaviour model are explained. The cultural variations and macro–micro cultural factors are also defined; and in particular, the cross–cultural comparison model between Istanbul and Gaziantep is described. After a chronological research, the events and results effecting the transformation of housing spaces are determined. Consequently, the common points in the application models, which are implemented in these provinces, are spotted during the first construction time period.
