Konut Tipolojisi Ve İç Mekan Kullanımında Ekonomik Ve Sosyal Yaşam Değişimlerinin Rolü Ve İpekçiliğin Etkileri, Osmaneli (eski Lefke) Kasabası Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, toplumsal yaşamdaki sosyo-ekonomik değişimlerin konut mekanı ve konut tipolojisine etkileri incelenmiş ve örnek bir kasaba bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu seçimde, ipekçilik geçmişi nedeni ile örnek kasaba olarak Osmaneli kasabası seçilmiştir. Osmaneli kasabasının yakın döneme dek başlıca ekonomik uğraşısı olan ipekçiliğin tarihsel perspektifi verildikten, bu perspektif teknolojik gelişimler, nüfus, ekonomi, ve uluslar arası konjoktür bağlamında değerlendirildikten sonra, kent mekanının zaman içerisindeki değişimleri takip edilmiş ve bu iki olgu arasındaki ilişki ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın veri kaynağını fotografik belgeleme, kentsel rölöve, bina rölöveleri ve alan çalışmaları oluşturmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu tarihsel gelişimin konut mekanları açısından kesintiye uğradığı noktalar belirlenmiş ve kasabanın konut mekanı ve kent bütünü koruma çalışmaları ile ilgili öneriler getirilmiştir.

In this Project, effects of socio-economic changes on house space and typology is analayzed and is evaluated in the context of a sample town. In this evaluation, town of Osmaneli is selected as the sample town for its traditional silk growing industry past. Through the evaluation, first, the historical perspective of silk production (cocoon), silk textile manufacturing, which has been the major economic activity processed in houses until recent times, in the town of Osmaneli and also Bursa and its nearby towns is examined; then, this perspective is assessed in terms of developments in technology, population,economics, and international relations context. Second, variotions in urban space are tracked through time. Lastly, the relation between these two phenomena namely, silk growing industry and house space is emerged. Data sources used in this Project are photographic documantation, survey Works on urban scale to house scale, and area studies. As a result, the breaking points of aforementioned historical development are located and suggestions about preservation efforts for the house space and for the whole town are developed.
