Kentsel Ağlar Ve Kentsel Strüktür Üzerindeki Etkileri

Abstract

Bu tezdeki temel amaç kentsel ağları incelemek ve bunların kent strüktürü ve yapılaşması üstündeki etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Ağların kent dokusu üzerinde nasıl birbirleriyle ilişkiye geçtikleri, çakıştıkları, etkileşimde bulundukları, sadece kenti değil, insanların hareket ve yaşamlarını da anlamak, ayrıca kent ile ilişkilerini ortaya çıkarmak açısından da önemlidir. Tezde bu ağlar, altyapısal –fiziksel, sosyal ve bilişim- telekömünikasyon ağları olarak üç bölümde incelenir. Ardından bilişim- telekomünikasyon ağlarının getirdiği yenilikler ve değişimler fiziksel-mekansan, sosyal ve küresel ölçekte ortaya konulur. Sanal kentler, farklılaşan kavramlar, enformasyon toplumu, küreselleşme ve bunların kent strüktürü üzerindeki etkileri tartışılır. Kentsel tasarım kavramının nasıl etkilendiği be enformasyon ağı ie donatılmış kentlerin bugünkülerden nasıl farklılaşabileceği incelenir.The basic purpose of the thesis is to study critically the significance of the urban networks in relation with the city and to demonstrate their influence on the urban structure. It is important to examine how these networks lay on the complex city fabric and how do they intersect, determining the paths and the interaction of the citizens. The networks are examined in three parts which are physical utility networks, social networks and informational telecommunication networks. Afterwards, their interaction and superimposition on urban structure is studied. The relationship between urban structure and information network is studied in three parts. In the first part, physical transformations in various spaces such as libraries, work places, schools, entertainment facilities and homes are taken into consideration. Virtual cities are also explored as the ‘new’ spaces in cities. The second part which includes social consequences, is followed by the third part which discusses the global affects and the urban scale impacts. Afterwards, the impacts and effects of the information networks on urban structure and design are explored. Firstly, the conceptual affects and changes in temporal and spatial norms are studied and that is followed by the influences of telecommunication systems on urban design.
