Özet
Bu çalışmada üç farklı liganddan yola çıkılarak merkez atomu kurşun olan farklı ftalosiyaninlerin sentezlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Periferal pozisyonlarda her bir benzo birimi üzerinde bir dihekzilmalonat ve bunun yanında bir kloro, bir hekziltiyo grubu, veya bir hidrojen taşıyan PbPc’ler 1-hekzanol içerisinde sentezlenmiştir. Ayrıca bir dietilmalonat ve bir kloro grubu taşıyan, Pb ftalosiyanin çözücüsüz ortamda, katı fazda sentezlenmiştir. Elde edilen bileşikler UV-Vis, IR, 1H-NMR ve MASS spektroskopik yöntemleri kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir. Kurşun atomunun geniş iyonik çapı ftalosiyanin halkasının oyuğuna tam yerleşememesine neden olur. Bundan dolayı kurşun atomu yapıdan kolaylıkla ayrılabilir. Bu sebeple günümüze kadar sentezlenebilmiş kurşun ftalosiyanin yapısı oldukça azdır. Kurşun ftalosiyanin sentezini gerçekleştirebilmek için en uygun reaksiyon koşullarını sağlamak çok önemli olduğundan, sentezi gerçekleştirmede iki ayrı yöntem izlenmiştir. Yöntemlerden biri; ligand ve metal tuzunun çözücü ortamında reaksiyonu, diğeri ligand ve metal tuzunun çözücü kullanmadan katı fazda gerçekleştirilen reaksiyonudur.
In this study, it was aimed to synthesize different phthalocyanines with lead as central atom by starting from three different ligands. PbPcs containing one dihexylmalonate moiety on each benzo unit were synthesized; the other moieties to the ortho- positions to this moiety were chloro, hexylthio, and hydrogen. A last compound containing one diethylmalonate and one chloro group on each benzo unit was synthesized without using any solvent in the solid-phase. The structures of the complexes obtained were elucidated by using UV-VIS, IR, 1H-NMR, and MASS spectroscopic techniques. Large ionic diameter of lead atom causes it to be unsuitable to fit into the phthalocyanine cavity. Therefore, lead atom can easily be removed from the structure. The number of studies about lead phthalocyanine so far is extremely low. Since providing the optimum reaction conditions to carry out lead phthalocyanine synthesis is of utmost importance, two methods were employed in the synthesis. One of the methods used solvent medium in which ligand and metal salt reacted with each other, whereas the other method did not include any solvent and was completely of solid-phase.
