Özet
Bu çalışmada 4-(4-dodesiltiyo-2,3,5,6-tetraflorobenziloksi)benziloksi grupları içeren metalli ftalosiyaninlerin sentezi amaçlanmıştır. Hedeflenen bu ftalosiyaninlerin sentezi için uygun ligand olan [4-(4-dodesiltiyo-2,3,5,6-tetraflorobenziloksi)benziloksi]ftalonitril bileşiği ilk kez bu çalışmada sentezlenmiştir. İlk aşamada 2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentaflorobenzil bromür ve 4-hidroksibenzil alkol reaksiyona sokularak 4-(2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentaflorobenziloksi)benzil alkol sentezlenmiş ve bu bileşik 4-nitroftalonitril ile muamele edilerek 4-[4-(2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentaflorobenziloksi)benziloksi]ftalonitril bileşiği elde edilmiştir. Pentaflorofenil gruplarında bulunan p-flor atomunun nükleofilik sübstitüsyon reaksiyonlarına karşı reaktif olduğu bilindiğinden son aşamada dodesiltiyol grubu halkaya takılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde [4-(4-dodesiltiyo-2,3,5,6-tetraflorobenziloksi) benziloksi] ftalonitril ligandı ile metalli Pc sentezi gerçekleştirilmiştir. İki değerlikli metal tuzları (Zn(CH3COO)2, NiCl2 or CoCl2) ile reaksiyonlar gerçekleştirilmiş ve yeni Zn(II), Co(II) ve Ni(II) ftalosiyaninler sentezlenmiştir. Son aşamada ise elde edilen bileşiklerin yapıları UV-vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 19F NMRve kütle spektrumu teknikleri kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir.
In this study, it is aimed to synthesize metallo phthalocyanines containing 4-(4-dodecylthio-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyloxy)benzyloxy groups. For the synthesis of target phthalocyanines the ligand [4-(4-dodecylthio-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyloxy) benzyloxy] phthalonitrile was synthesized firstly in this study. Firstly 2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentafluorobenzyl bromide and 4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol were reacted each other to give 4-(2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentafluorobenziloxy)benzyl alcohol. The resulted alcohol then treated with 4-nitrophthalonitrile and 4-[4-(2’,3’,4’,5’,6’-pentafluorobenzyloxy)benzyloxy] phthalonitrile was synthesized. The para-fluorine of the pentafluorophenyl groups are known to be reactive toward nucleophilic substitution reactions. So the dodecylthiol group was attached to the benzene ring easily. In the second part of the study, metallo phthalocyanines were synthesized with the ligand [4-(4-dodecylthio-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyloxy)benzyloxy]phthalonitrile. New Zn (II), Co (II) and Ni(II) phthalocyanines were synthesized by reaction with divalent metal salts (Zn(CH3COO)2, NiCl2 or CoCl2). In the final part, the structures of obtained compounds were characterized by using UV-vis, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 19F NMR and mass tecniques.
