Mimarlık Pratiği İçinde Mimarlık Kavrayışının Dönüşümü

Abstract

Tez çalışmasının başlangıcında, sorular sorarak çıkış noktası aranmıştır. Soruların genel kapsamı meslek pratiğinin değerlendirilmesiyle birlikte, temelinde, mimarın rolünün, konumunun, sorumluluğunun üzerine bir içdüşünmedir. Üretim sürecine dair farkında olma ve bilme isteği ile süreç içinde sahip olunan mimarlık kavrayışının anlamı, analizi ışığında, mimarlığın ne şekilde örgütlendiğinin incelenmesini amaçlanmaktadır. Tezin ikinci bölümünde farklı disiplinlerin bilgi alanlarından yararlanan mimarlığın, günümüze kadar ne şekilde ele alındığı incelenmiştir. Öncelikle, mimarlık kavrayışının anlamının ve dönüşümüyle ilgili olarak, geçmişten günümüze etkili olan söylemlere genel bir bakış altında değinilmiştir. Bununla beraber, dönemin mimari yaklaşımlarına, mimarın aldığı konuma ve ilgili tanımlara yer verilmiştir. Tezin üçüncü bölümünde günümüz mimarlık mesleğinin kapsamından bahsederken mimarlığın kanıksanmış, hakim pozisyonları ve bunun yanında, mimarın kendisine yeni alan açmasına dair konular üzerinde durulmuştur. Yeni pozisyon alma, yeni refleksler, yeni stratejiler geliştirme gerekliliğinden yola çıkarak; tüm bu süreç dahilinde mimarlığın etkinlik alanındaki dönüşümler sonucu, yeni üretim pratikleri açıklanmak istenmiştir. Tezin dördüncü bölümünde mimarlık pratiğinin kavranışı ve sağladığı üretim platformlarıyla ilgili olarak, mimarlık ofisleri ile gerçekleştirilen söyleşilere yer verilmiştir. Üretim sürecine ve mimarın rolüne dair bir durum değerlendirmesi yaparak, konuyla ilgili ucu açık bir tartışma yaratmak istenmiştir. Bu amaçla; dünyadaki gelişmelere paralel olarak Türkiye de de dönüşen mimarlık üretim biçimlerine hâkim, sektörün veya profesyonel gerekliliklerin verdiği rollerin ötesinde, kendisine ayrı bir yer edinen ofisler ile söyleşiler yaparak çalışmanın desteklenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tezin beşinci bölümünde ise, çalışma kapsamında yapılan tüm araştırma ve analizler ortaya konmuş; mimarlık kavrayışının, örgütlenme biçiminin ve üretim sürecinin dönüşümünün teorik ve pratik alanlardaki karşılığı incelenmiştir.

At the beginning of this thesis, questions were asked and answers sought. These questions were internal thinking that evaluate the practice of profession and examining the role, the position and the responsibility of the architects. The aim of this thesis is to examine how the organizations of architecture, from the perspective of understanding of architecture that owned in the production process. In the second chapter, it was examined, how was the architecture investigated up to present day, by taking advantage of information from different disciplines. Firstly, it was mentioned the effective discourses, that existing from past to present, about the meaning and the transformation of the architectural conception. Additionally, the architecture approaches of the period, the position of the architects and related definitions were given in this section. In the third chapter, in addition to the scope of the architectural profession in present day, it was discussed the dominant positions of architects and new field of architecture that opened by architects. Furthermore, it was tried to explain new production practices, within the process of getting a new position, new reflexes and development of new strategies in this field. The fourth chapter, contains interviews conducted with architectural offices. These interviews about understanding of the architectural practice and its providing of production platforms. In this section it was tried to create an open-ended discussion about production process and the role of the architects. For this purpose, the study was supported by interviews with Turkish architecture offices that made important places for itself in this field. These offices having roles beyond the requirements of the sector and shows parallel development with developments in architectural field in the world. In the fifth chapter of the thesis, all the research and analysis on the scope of this study set forth. Besides, the architectural conception, form of organization and the transformation of the production process are examined for both theoretical and practical areas.
