In this study, polycaprolactone-polyethylene glycol copolymers were succesfully synthesized by using enzyme as a catalyst. The enzyme that was used is Candida antarctica Lipase B. The effects of the amount of polyethylene glycol and the reaction parameters as temperature, type of initiator and amount of enzyme on the molecular weight, polydispersity and the thermal properties of the polycaprolactone-polyethylene glycol copolymers were investigated. Characterization of the copolymers were done by using FTIR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR analysis. Molecular weight and the polydispersity of the copolymers were measured by GPC and thermal behaviour of the copolymers were determined by DSC. All the results were compatible with the results of the studies presented in the literature.
