Yalın Üretim Ve Otomotiv Sanayinde Uygulanması

Abstract

1950’li yıllarda Japonya’da Toyota Motor Şirketi tarafından geliştirilen yalın üretim sistemi, en az kaynakla, en kısa zamanda, en ucuz ve hatasız üretimi, müşteri talebine göre bire bir uyacak şekilde en az israfla gerçekleştirebilme arayışının sonucuolarak geliştirilen bir sistemdir ancak bu yeni sistem 1970’li yıllarda yaşanan petrol kriziyle dünya otomotiv sanayinin dikkatini çekmeye başlamıştır. 1970’lerde dünya otomotiv pazarında GM, Ford ve Chrysler ilk üç sırayı paylaşırken bugünlere gelindiğinde Toyota’nın GM ve Ford’un arkasından üçüncü sırada yer aldığı görülmektedir. Toyota’nın başarısının temelini oluşturan bu üretim felsefesi artık Türk otomotiv firmaları tarafından da detaylı olarak incelenme ve adepte edilme sürecindedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında bu yeni üretim sistemi incelenmiştir. Istikrarsız Türkiye pazarında iç pazara yönelik üretim yapan otomotiv firmaları için yalın üretim sistemi rekabet avantajı sağlayacak alternatif üretim sistemi olmaya adaydır.Lean Production, developed in 1950s by Toyota Motor Company in Japan, is the result of searching for a system that responds to the customer’s needs with using minimum sources, just in time logic with a minimum cost and non defective production and eliminating all wastes in all production processes. But in case this new production approach could not recognised properly by the world automotive industry until the petrol crisis in 1970s. GM, Ford and Chrysler were the top three companies in world automotive industry market in 1970s. this sequence has changed in recent years and today Toyota is the third biggest company after GM and Ford. This production approach that lies beyond Toyota’s success is to be searched in detailed and adapted to the production processes by all Turkish automotive companies. With this study lean production applications are examined. Lean production system will be an alternative that provides advantages in competition for Turkish automotive industry.
