İstanbul’da Küresel Etki Bağlamında Son 20 Yıl İçinde Levent – Maslak Aksı Arasındaki Yüksek Katlı Konut Yapıları

Abstract

Tezin amacı, temel olarak 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında yaşanan küreselleşme hareketinin, siyasi, kültürel ve sosyal etkisi ile konut tercihleri ve kent kavramında yaşanan değişimi göstermek olacaktır. Birinci bölümde, sonrasında açıklanacak olan küreselleşme ile konut tercihleri arasındaki ilişkinin anlaşılabilmesi adına, dünya ölçeğinde metropoliten kent olgusu ve bu olgunun farklı yüzyıllara göre değişimi ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise, İstanbul’da küresel etki bağlamında yaşanan ve yaşanmakta olan, iş ve konut alanlarındaki değişim anlatılmıştır. Burada küresel etki bağlamında, son 20 yıl içinde iş ve konut alanlarındaki değişimden, İstanbul’da şehir merkezinden uzakta kurulan kapalı siteler ve ofis binalarına değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, yine büyük ölçüde küreselleşmenin etkisi altında, elit kesimin tercihi olarak ortaya çıkan yüksek yapılara, rezidans örneği üzerinden odaklanılmıştır. Burada tarihsel oluşum süreçleri içinde rezidanslar ele alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm ise, önceki bölümlerin bir sentezi niteliğini taşımaktadır. Bu bölümde küresel etki bağlamında İstanbul’da, son 20 yıl içinde Levent – Maslak aksı arasında ortaya çıkan yüksek katlı yapılara değinilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma kapsamında, 20. yüzyılda tüm dünyayı saran küreselleşme akımının Türkiye’deki yapılaşma ve konut oluşumu üzerindeki etkilerine değinilmiştir. Küreselleşmenin etkisi ile, kentin merkezinde bir dönüşüme değinilmiştir.

The aim of the thesis will be to trace the consequences of this concept of globalization that has risen in especially the second half of the 20th century with respect to its effects on residence preferences and changes in the concept of “cities”. In the first part, the issue of industrial cities will be discussed in order to be able to discover the relations between the idea of globalization and residence preferencens. In the second part, the changes of work and residential places in Istanbul under the impact of the global effect will be discussed. Here, the gated communities established far from the city center and offices in Istanbul will be examined fort he period of the last 20 years. As for the third part, the example of residences, being a significant example of the high buildings that have appeared with the effects of the global era, as the choice of the elite, will be discussed. Here a historical approach will be adopted to analyze the residences. Finally, the fourth section will be like a synthesis of the previous sections where in this part the high buildings that appear between Levent and Maslak within the last 20 years will be discussed. All in all, in the context of this study, the impact of globalization in the 20th century, on Turkey’s structuring policies will be examined. It is obvious that there has been a significant transformation with the impact of the global era in the center of the cities.
