Abstract
Son yıllarda polimer matriksinin kilin nano boyutta silikat tabakaları arasına girmesi ile hazırlanan polimer-kil nanokompozit malzemeleri, bilimin güncel araştırma konuları arasında yer almaktadır. Benzer şekilde, petrol tabanlı ürünlerden elde edilen ve maalesef yaygın olarak kullanılan kaplama ve paketleme malzemeleri, gelecek jenarasyona bırakılan önemli bir çevre problemi yaratmaktadır. Bu sebeplerden ötürü toksik bileşim içermeyen, biyobozunabilen yeşil polimerik malzemelerin gelişimi bugün malzeme bilimi ve mühendisliğinin en güncel konularından biri haline gelmiştir. Çevre dostu olan ve yenilenebilir kaynaklardan temin edilen biyopolimerlerden elde edilen filmlerin günümüzde gıda ambalajlama, atık su arıtımı,kozmetik ve biyomedikal gibi pek çok sanayi alanında uygulamaları mevcuttur. Bu uygulamalarda esas amaç mümkün olduğu kadar yüksek dayanımlı, kullanılacak alana bağlı olarak geliştirilmiş özelliklere sahip olan, kullanımı kolay, maliyeti düşük ve uygun prosedürlerle elde edilecek filmler oluşturmaktır.Yapılan bu çalışmada biyobozunan ve toksik özelliği olmayan, yenilenebilir kaynaklardan elde edilen, çevre dostu Aljinat biyopolimeri ile farklı metodlarla elde edilen modifiye kalsiyum montmorilonit tipi killerden nanokompozit yapıda filmler hazırlanmıştır.Çalışmanın devamı olarak belirtilmiş olan prosedürlerle elde edilen kompozit film malzemeler XRD, UV-görünür alan, SEM, TGA, DSC ve DMA gibi farklı spektrofotometrik, termal ve mekanik analiz yöntemleri ile karakterize edilmiştir.
Recently, one of the most popular research subject is preparing polymer-clay composite materials thanks to interraction between polymer matrix and clay silicate layers.Additionally; the petroleum-based coating and packaging materials which are commanly used are an important environmental problem be queathed to the furure generations. For these reasons, the development of biodegradable “green” polymeric materials that do not contain toxic components is one of the most impressing topics of materials science and engineering. Films made by environmetally friendly and renewable sources biopolymers have different kinds of industrial applications such as; food packaging, in the waste water treatment, cosmetics and biomedicine industries. The main purposes of these applications are to get high strenght, low-cost, easy used and also easy processing films as it’s possible.In this investigation, it is succeed to get physical and mechanical properties improved composite films made by biodegradable, environmetally friendly and get from renewable sources and also non-toxic Alginate polysaccharide with modified CaMt clay types.In the following steps of this investigation , prepared with suitable procedure biopolymer films with four different types of clay minerals are characterized by means of analysis of different kinds of spectrometric, thermal and also mechanical analsis such as XRD, Transparency, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, SEM and DMA.
