Abstract
Toplam altı bölümden oluşan bu tez çalışmasının ilk dört bölümünde, yüksek yapıların tarihi gelişimi, yüksek yapılara etkiyen yükler (düşey yükler, deprem ve rüzgar yükleri) ve tüp sistem yapılarda yatay yük taşıyıcı sistemler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Yatay yük taşıyıcı sistemler başlığı altındaki bölümde, tüp sistem yapıların yatay yükler etkisi altındaki davranışı, tüp sistem yapılarda kayma gecikme etkileri, tüp sistem yapılarda kolon transferleri, betonarme, çelik ve kompozit tüp taşıyıcı sistemlerin sınıflandırılması, yatay yükler etkisi altındaki davranışları ve uygulanabilirlikleri detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Beşinci bölümünde, 228 m yüksekliğinde, 60 katlı ve 41,0 m x 41,0 m plan boyutlarına sahip iç perde – çerçeve tüp betonarme taşıyıcı sistemli bir yapının, düşey ve rüzgar yükleri etkisinde statik, deprem yükleri etkisinde ise dinamik analiz, tasarım ve gerekli yönetmelik kontrolleri yapılmıştır. Altıncı bölümde, bir önceki bölümdeki yapının taşıyıcı sisteminde çeşitli değişiklikler yapılarak veya farklı çözüm modelleri kullanılarak elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiş ve ortaya çıkan durumlarla ilgili çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur. İlk olarak, yapıda bulunan çevre kiriş boyutlarının, deprem ve rüzgar yüklemeleri durumunda, kayma gecikme etkileri ve yapının yanal rijitliği üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Daha sonra, kaset döşeme sistemindeki dişlerin, esas kirişlerde düşey yüklerden oluşan iç kuvvetler üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Son olarak, düşey taşıyıcı sistem elemanlarında oluşan farklı boy kısalmalarının esas kirişlerin iç kuvvetleri üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir.
Of the six chapters that this master’s thesis includes, the first four chapters comprise an overview of historical background of high-rise buildings, loads acting on high-rise buildings such as gravity loads, wind loads and seismic loads, and lateral bracing systems for concrete, steel and composite tubular buildings. In the chapter concerning lateral bracing systems, behavior of tubular buildings under lateral loads, shear lag effects in tubular buildings, column transfers in tubular buildings, and classification of concrete, steel and composite structural systems for tube buildings and their characteristics, behavior and applicability have been covered in detail. In the fifth chapter, a 228-m (748-ft), 60-story reinforced concrete building which comprises a closely spaced perimeter tube and interior shear walls and is typically 41,0 m (134 ft 6 in.) square in plan was analyzed, designed and the so-called code check process was performed on the basis of gravity, wind, and seismic loads. In these analyses, gravity and wind loads were considered static, while seismic loads were considered dynamic. In the sixth chapter, several evaluations, judgments, and comparisons were made by altering the structural system or employing different analysis models for the building in the preceding chapter. The first evaluation is the effects of the depth of the spandrel beams on both the shear lag phenomenon and the lateral stiffness of the building. The second evaluation is the effects of the joists on the gravity-induced internal forces of the main beams. The last evaluation is the effects of the differential shortening of the columns and shear walls on the internal forces of the beams.
