Abstract
The dependence of the viscosity of fluids on pressure has been well established by experiments. Especially, taking into consideration the dependency of pressure on viscosity in problems where there is a large variation of pressure in the flow domain become inevitable. Because of this reason, the fluids with pressure dependent viscosity, has become more popular in fluid flow problems in a wide variety of applications. Thus, it has been studied more recently. In this work we have examined the fluid flow through the cylindrical rigid tube which are expressed by various types of dependencies of pressure on viscosity. Some analytical solutions of the velocity field and the pressure, thereby the particular viscosity regimes for flows are obtained. The difference between the results of the problem and the classical incompressible Navier-Stokes flow has been discussed, and obtained results are compared to the results done in other works in the literature.
