Mimari Tasarım Sürecinde Efektiflik: Stüdyo İçi İletişimin Tasarım Performansına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada mimari tasarımda efektiflik sorunsalı tasarım sürecindeki iletişim üzerinden irdelenmiş, daha iyi bir iletişim ile daha efektif tasarlamanın bağlantısı ortaya koyulmuştur. Mimari tasarımın en temel merkezlerinden biri olması ve iletişime dayalı yapısı nedeni ile mimari tasarım stüdyosu ve “diploma projesi jüri sunuşları” çalışmanın kuramsal ve deneysel ortamı olarak alınmıştır. Öğrencinin/tasarımcının tasarlarken kendi temsil ürünleri ile içine girdiği diyalog-öz eleştiri ve diğer kişiler/stüdyo yürütücüsü/eleştirmen ile içine girdiği diyalog-dıştan gelen eleştiri konuları irdelenmiştir. Diyaloğun niteliğinin tasarımcının algı ve bilinç durumlarını belirliyor olmasına dayanarak efektif bir diyalog ile tasarım performansının yükseleceği öne sürülmüştür. İyi bir diyaloğun tasarım/temsil ürünlerinin niteliklerinin ve karşılıklı sözel ifadenin niteliğinin yükseltilmesi ile sağlanacağı savunulmuştur. Sonuç olarak tasarımda iyi bir iletişimin efektifliğe kanal verdiği ortaya koyulmuştur.In this study, the efficiency issue in architectural design was investigated through the communication phenomenon in the design process. The relation of a better communication with designing more efficiently was elaborated in detail and the outcome was put forward. The architectural design studio and “graduation project jury presentations” were taken as the theoretical and experimental platforms of this study, since the studio activities are mainly based on communication and constitute one of the main centers of architectural design. The issues around the student’s/designer’s dialogue with his/her own representation products, in other words his/her self-criticism and his/her dialogue with other people/the studio master/critic, namely external criticism were discussed. It was proposed that the dialogue defines the perceptual and conciousness states of the designer and the design performance would improve by means of efficient dialogue accordingly. It was underlined that an efficient dialogue would be obtained by increasing the quality of the design/representation products and of the verbal expression. As the result of this research and investigation, it was concluded that a good communication environment would open the channels and provide significant opportunities for improving efficiency in architectural design.
