| tr_TR |
dc.description.abstract | In this study the crystallization behaviour, micro structer and machinability properties of the machinable glass-ceramics including flourapatite and sodium mica with different ratios was investigated. Glasses, produced with tradiational glass-ceramic production techniques, were examined with DTA results which indicate endothermic and exothermic heat effects. After that the crystallizing phase and crystallization sequences of the samples were identified by XRD diffraction. Than the microstructures of heat-treated samples were investigated by scanning electron microscope and the micro hardness tests was done. Finally, disk shaped samples were drilled to determine the machinability properties. As a result, first exothermic heat effect represents the crystallization of sodium mica and second exothermic heat effect represents the crystallization of flourapatite. The increasing the amount of flourapatite the tendency of crystallization behaviour also increased in the compositions studied. Also the machinability properties is improved by increase in the volume ratio of precipitated mica phase. | en_US |
