Sıfır Atık Yönetimi Ve Ofis Tipi Binalarda Uygulanması

Özet
Bu çalışmada sıfır atık yönetiminin, iki adet birbirinden farklı ofis tipi binada uygulanması yapılmış, ofis tipi binalardan çıkan atıklar incelenmiş, kaynağında azaltım için çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Çalışma yapılan 1 nolu binada sıfır atık yönetimi uygulaması ile oluşması beklenen yıllık 118566 kg atıkta, 27849 kg atık azaltması sağlanarak atık miktarı 90717 kg’ a indirilmiştir. Bunun da kaynağında ayırma çalışmaları ile 83176 kg’ı geri kazanılarak sadece 7541 kg atık düzenli depolama sahasına gönderilmiş olup, depolamaya gidecek atık miktarında %92’lik bir azalma sağlanmıştır. Sıfır atık yönetimi ile 2 nolu binada oluşması beklenen yıllık 45966 kg atıkta, 6929 kg atık azaltması sağlanarak atık miktarı 39026 kg’ a düşürülmüştür. Bu atıkların da kaynağında ayırma çalışmaları ile 17078 kg’ı geri kazanılarak 21959 kg atık düzenli depolama sahasına gönderilmiş olup, depolamaya gidecek atık miktarında %44’lük bir azalma sağlanmıştır. Sıfır Atık Yönetimi çalışmaları ile her iki binada bir yıllık süreçte atık azaltma ve geri kazanma ile düzenli depolama maliyetlerinden 2701$, yakıttan 1620$ ve geri kazanımdan 14701$ olmak üzere toplam 19023$ kazanç elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca atmosferin daha az kirlenmesi sağlanmış ve düzenli depolama alanlarında toplamda 338 m3 lük bir hacimden tasarruf edilmesi sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın il ve ülke geneline yayılması durumunda elde edilen bu rakamların çok daha önemli boyutlara ulaşacağı aşikârdır.
During the study, Zero Waste Management was applied for two different office buildings; wastes were examined for these two buildings and practices for reduction at source were studied. In the first building worked, with Zero Waste Management application, in the expected annual 118566 kg waste, by providing 27849 kg waste minimization the amount of waste was reduced to 90717 kg. By recycling 83176 kg of this waste amount with seperate collection studies, only 7541 kg waste was sent to sanitary landfill, 92% decrease in the amount of waste that was sent to sanitary landfill was obtained.
