| dc.description.abstract | Fransız kânûnî Julien Jalâl Ed-Dine Weiss dünya müziği sahnesinde, Orta-Doğu makâm müziğinin önde gelen icracılarından biri olarak kabul edilir. 1990, sıradan kânûn modellerinin entonasyonu ve ses mevcudundan hoşnut olmadığından, ona genişletilmiş bir akor zenginliğinde, kesin düzenli aralıklar ile sağlayan birkaç yeni prototip tasarlamaya başladı. Weiss'in motivasyonları makâm bilgisinin tarihî edvârlar ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Weiss'ın kânûn modelinin yapısı ayrıntılı bir inceleme ile sunulmuş, Weiss'ın genel kânûn sistemlerinden yeni prototiplere geçmedeki eleştirel motivasyonları açıklanmıştır. Öne çıkan ecnâs ve hem iki uzun örnek makâm eseri hem Weiss'in çağdaş bestecilerle son zamanlardaki işbirliğindeki kullanımları araştırılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The French q?n?n player Julien Jalâl Ed-Dine Weiss belongs to the internationally prominent performers of Middle-Eastern music. In 1990, feeling unsatisfied with tuning and pitch supply of common q?n?n models, Weiss started to develop a number of novel prototypes that would provide him with justly tuned intervals in an extended range of microtones. Weiss? motivations are explored upon the historical treatises of maq?m music. An analysis of Weiss? instruments is followed by the study of their application in practice. Besides Weiss? interpretation of important modal genres and two examples from the repertoire also his collaboration with Western composers is considered. | |
