Altı Sigma Ve Bir Şirket Uygulaması

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, kalite hareketinin son 50 yıl içinde geçirdiği değişim, Altı Sigma’nın tanımı, metodolojisi, Altı Sigma’daki roller ve sorumlulukları ve metodolojinin daha iyi anlaşılması için bir şirkette proje olarak yapılan bir uygulama örneği verilmiştir. Bu uygulamada Borusan Mannesmann Boru Halkalı Fabrikasında boru makinalarının hızlarının arttırılması amaçlanmıştır. Uygulama sonucu hızlar, hedeflenen oranda artmış, ve artan hızla hem işçilik maliyeti düşmüş, hem de aynı sürede üretilen boru miktarı artmıştır. Bu tezi okuyanların Altı Sigma hakkında bir sarı kuşak kadarf bilgili olmaları amaçlanmıştır.In this thesis, quality movement’s change in last 50 years, Six Sigma’s definition, it’s methodology, it’s roles and responsibilities and an applicational example in a company on the basis of better understanding of the methodology are covered. In Borusan Mannesmann Boru Halkalı Plant, the aim of the application is to increase the speed of the pipe mills. After the application of the methodology, the speeds increased to the target values, payment to workers decreased and the pipe amount that is produced at the same time increased due to the increased speeds. The aim of this thesis is, after reading this thesis one has to be informed at yellow belt level.
