Özet
Tez çalışmasında mevcut durumda yerli üretimde bulunmayan DC04ED kalite soğuk haddelenmiş emaye çeliğinin geliştirilmesi kapsamında Sürekli Tavlama Yöntemi ile üretilen emayeleme ve konvansiyonel çift kat emayeleme prosesine uygun IF bir emaye çeliğinin üretilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Tez kapsamında geliştirilen emaye çeliğinde olması beklenen iki ana özellik balık puluna karşı dirençli olması ve iyi şekillendirebilirlik için belirli mekanik beklentileri karşılıyabiliyor olmasıdır. Deneysel çalışmalar kapsamında deney tasarımı yöntemi kullanılarak 2 farklı analizde 4 dökümden 16 adet bobin üretilmiş bobinlerden sıcak haddelenmiş, soğuk haddelenmiş ve tavlanmış-temperlenmiş numuneler alınmıştır. Aynı zamanda firmalarda yapılan denemelerde bulunularak preslenmiş ve emayelenmiş parçalardan numuneler alınmıştır. Üretilen bobinlerin emaye prosesine uygunluklarını değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılan mekanik (çekme, çökertme, sertlik, kulaklanma, pürüzlülük), kimyasal analiz, mikro yapı ve yüzey karbonu analizi test sonuçları ve emaye performans test sonuçları verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak üretilen bütün bobinlerin emayeleme işlemine uygun oldukları görülmüştür. EN 10209 standartına göre DC04ED kalitesine uygun olan bobinler ve üretim koşulları belirlenmiştir. Yapılan denemeler başarılı olarak sonuçlanmış ve firmalardan onay alınmıştır. Geliştirilen çeliğin ERDEMİR-7514 Kalitesi olarak yerli seri üretime geçirilmesine karar verilmiştir.
Within the scope of this thesis project was aimed to improve a low carbon deep drawing quality enamelling steel that is suitable for conventional double-layer enamelling process by using Continuous Annealing Method.Modern steel is generally identified by various grades defined by assorted standards organizations. For the definition and grading enamelling steel there is a quality specification called : EN 10209 standart. EN 10209 standart 'Cold rolled low carbon steel flat products for vitreous enamelling' describes the criteria that steel grades must meet to be defined as suitable for vitreous enamelling and also the test methods used to determine suitability for enamelling (hydrogen permeation, iron loss for steel intended for direct-on white enamelling, and enamel adhesion test). Enamelling steel grade has to meet mechanical requirements besides good adhesion to enamel and resistance to formation of enamel defects. The production of enamelling steels must favour the eventual formation of sufficient hydrogen traps. As part of experimental studies 16 coils produced from 4 different casting and 2 different chemical analysis according to design of experiment method.These coils are hot rolled, cold rolled, contiounuosly annealed and tampered, respectively. Thoughout the process head-middle-end coil samples were collected. Afterwards, coils were transfered to household appliances companies at where these coils pressed and enameled. Samples were prepared from coils for mechanical testing (tensile test, erichsen cupping test , hardness test, earing test, roughness test ), chemical analysis, microstructure and surface carbon analysis together with enamel performance testing in order to evalute steel suitability for enamelling. As a result, it has been found that all coils are suitable for enamelling. As target of this study, coils that are suitable for DIN EN 10209 Standart DC04ED were selected and production conditions were determined. Trials took place in household appliances companies succesfully whereupon approvals has been taken from companies for these steel grade. Consequently it has been decided that this steel is a mass producible new steel product under the name of ERDEMİR-7514 steel grade. In status quo enamel and many other steel grades are imported from abroad. I sincerely wish for my thesis will help to vernacularize these steel grades whereby added value will stay in our country and to contribute our national technological development.
