Özet
The author shows how a shape optimization problem arising from a physically nonlinear isotropic generalized uncoupled dynamic thermoelasticity can be formulated by using an adjoint variable method and a material derivative concept. The formulation is claimed to be useful in a numerical treatment of the optimization problem.
