Özet

Abstract Fluorescence decay curves from particles composed of poly (vinyl acetate) (PVA c ) and naphthalene (N) labelled poly (2-ethyl-hexyl methacrylate) (PEHMA) were fitted to the Klafter-Blumen (KB) model for energy transfer from N to anthracene. An apparent dimension of d = 2.0 was observed. The exponential series method analysis was used to “partition” the apparent dimensions to two distinct dimensions of d = 3 and d = 1.26. The Laplace-transformed KB equation for the lifetime distribution was used to interpret these dimensions in terms of a crossover in the thread-like PEHMA network in PVA c particles.
