On bending of rectangular plates of varying thickness

Abstract

In this paper a problem uuhich had been studled ın a previous paper has been solved for a more general loading. It is assumed a load function in the form q(x, y) = f(x)<v(y) and the resulting non homogeneous differential equation has been worked ovt by means of the kernel function. The result has been applied to a plate subjected to hydrostatic pressure.
