Abstract
Ad Hoc Networks became a popular research topic and the applications covering this topic as been increased. As the military applications are the most encountered domain, security is one of the most important problems. In this thesis, a group key management protocol for generating and maintaining group key that will be used in secure group communication, is proposed for Ad Hoc Networks. The simulation of the proposed and the original protocol is implemented visually and used for the tests. Group key management protocols in the literature are searched and analyzed and in the TGDH protocol, Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman group key agreement method is used instead of Diffie Hellman group key agreement method. Therefore computation and memory cost is reduced. JCE, JGroups and Bouncycastle software libraries are used to implement a JAVA desktop application simulating the proposed and the original protocol.
