Özet

A new model is proposed to predict the mobile signal statistics for systems where diversity is implemented at the base station. Based on the model, analytical expressions for envelope correlation of the signal received at the mobile are obtained as a function of the mean distance of active scatterers from the mobile as well as the frequency and space separations used at the base. Unlike previous reception models of concern, this model assumes, based on experimental evidence, a statistical dependency between time delay and the angle of arrival of a received wave. In view of the behaviour of the correlation coefficient for varying mean effective distance, it is suggested that widespread scattering regions can be characterized by attributing an exponential density to the distance of scatterers whereas a Rayleigh density would describe scatterers confined to small areas better. >
