İstanbul’daki Sinan Camilerinde Mekân İle Serbest Düşey Taşıyıcılar Arasındaki Boyut İlişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İstanbul’daki Sinan camilerine ait mekân ve düşey taşıyıcı ölçüleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu ölçülerle temellendirilen tez çalışması, belli bir mimari kültürün, belli bir dönemini ifade eden başkent yapılarında, mekân ile serbest düşey taşıyıcılar arasındaki boyut ilişkisi üzerine, bir tür oran arayışıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Tez çalışması kapsamında yer alan yirmibir yapı, iç mekân ve dış mekân olmak üzere, iki ana bölümde incelenmiştir. İç mekânda, yapının ana strüktürü ve üç boyutlu iç mekân kuruluşu, özellikle ana kubbe altında oluşan orta hacim, yan sahınlar, iç galeriler ve mahfiller, tek tek ele alınmıştır. Dış mekân ise, başta son cemaat yeri olmak üzere, dış revak, avlu ve dış yan sofalar olarak alt başlıklar halinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda belli bir oran düzeninden söz edebilmek için, tez kapsamındaki yapılar arasında oran-strüktür ilişkisi ortaya konulmuş ve karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilmiştir.The aim of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between space and independent vertical load-bearers at Sinan’s mosques in Istanbul. Basing itself to these criteria, it is a kind of search for the ratio in the relationship of space and independent vertical load-bearers in a specific arhitectural culture, in the buildings of the capital city, which belong to a specific era. In accordance with this purpose, twenty-one buildings which were included in the thesis, were studied in two main parts as internal and external space. In internal space, the main structure and three-dimensional internal structure, and especially central volume, side spaces, internal gallerias and loggias, which were situated under the central dome, were taken into consideration individually. In terms of external space, first portico and then external arcade, courtyard, and external benches were examined. The relationship between ratio and structure was exposed in order to talk about a specific ratio order at the end of the study.
