Abstract
Bu çalışmada, tehlikeli hava kirleticilerinden olan ağır metallerin emisyon kaynakları incelenmiştir. Bu kaynaklardan tıbbı atık yakma tesisinde ağır metal oluşumu ve emisyonu konusunda çalışma yapmak üzere İSTAÇ Tıbbi Atık Yakma Tesisi pilot tesis olarak seçilerek, bu tesisten kaynaklanabilecek metal oluşumlarını ve emisyonlarını tespit maksatlı olarak, döner fırın cürufundan, II. Fırın külünden, toz filtresi kekinden ve baca gazından örnekleme yapılmıştır. Katı numuneler TS 12090’na uygun, baca gazı örneklemesi ve diğer analizler EPA Method 29 kapsamında yapılmıştır. Alınan örneklerde Hg, Cd, Tl, Sb, As, Pb, Cr, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, metallerine bakılmıştır. Literatürdeki benzer çalışmalar araştırılarak, bulunan sonuçlarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Tesiste bir kütle dengesi kurulmaya çalışılarak, literatürdeki emisyon faktörleriyle karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Metal oluşumunu irdelemek için metal-sıcaklık ve metal-metal değişimleri üzerine durulmuş ve tıbbi atık içerisindeki metal içeriği hakkında fikir yürütülmeye çalışılmıştır. Ağır metal oluşumu ve dağılımı gözlenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir.
In this study, research on the sources of toxic air pollutants “heavy metals” was done. From the sources of heavy metal emissions, to study on medical waste incineration and heavy metal occurrence and emission from incinerator, ISTAÇ Medical Waste Incineration Plant was selected as a pilot plant. To determine the emissions and the metal occurrence from the plant, samples were taken from Rotary Kiln residue, Second Burner Ash, filter cake and from the stack to determine the gaseous and dust emissions. Solid samples was taken regular to TS 12090 and stack gas sampling was done according to EPA Method 29. Hg, Cd, Tl, Sb, As, Pb, Cr, Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, analyzes were done on the taken samples. According to the result a mass balance equation was made for the plant and the results were checked with the emissions factors of the literature. To understand metal distribution in the incineration system metal occurrence and heat relationship was researched. Heavy metal occurrence and distribution was observed and evaluated.
