This presentation, “Types of Accelerators and Their Fundamental Operating Principles,” was originally prepared as the final presentation of the CERN Turkish Teacher Workshop (TÖÇ-6). It provides a structured overview of major particle accelerator types, their design considerations, and fundamental operating principles. Beyond its workshop context, the material is intended as an accessible resource for both educators and undergraduate students, supporting the broader understanding of accelerator physics and its applications in modern scientific research. This version corrects a typo in the ISBN number of one reference in the bibliography.
