In this research experimental out-of-plane (OOP) response of the retrofitted and un-retrofitted masonry infill walls with various materials and models have been investigated. Furthermore, the experimental data have been analyzed with the Finite Element program (ATENA). In addition, the analytical out-of-plane response of the various dimension of the un-retrofitted infill walls studied under quasi-static loads. After a few studies realized that Lateral Hollow Clay Bricks (LHCB) are the most useable materials for separator inside structures and surrender of buildings in Turkey and other regions in the Middle East.
