| tr_TR |
dc.description.abstract | In this study the uncontrolled global journey of surplus accumulated in Western economies as a result of economic recovery after World War II and its effects on global markets are analyzed. This journey is a result of “globalization”. Especially in 1990’s this movement has had a speculative and short term identity. This movement changed its direction towards newly developing countries, helped those countries use resources beyond their potential and at the same time caused financial crises, suddenly exiting the economies during monetary turbulance periods. The same international private capital movements triggered recent financial crises which caused the collapse of economic stability programme of Turkey again. The result of this study underlined the need to take the possible reactions of those capital movements into consideration when macroeconomic policies are being decided and attract longer term, less speculative foreign investments with the help of prudential regulations in the country. | en_US |
