Mimarlık Üzerinden Etik-estetik Bir Okuma

Abstract

Mimarlık eyleminin ürünü olarak mekanı ve mekanın mimar, kullanıcı ve yer ile üst üste düşen kesitlerdeki kurduğu ilişkileri ve bu ilişkiler aracılığıyla etik - estetik birliğinin mekan ile olan etkileşimini incelemeyi hedefleyen bu tez çalışmasında mimarlık üzerinden etik - estetik birlikteliğinin yansımalarının izinin sürüleceği bir mekan okuması yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu sebeple önce etik - estetik birlikteliğinin genel bir analizi ve mimarlık üzerinden bir analizi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra mekan kavramı ve tarihi üzerine çalışmalardan hareketle mimarlık ürünü olarak mekanın gelişimi ve bu gelişimin felsefe ile olan yakın ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme ışığında mekanın mimarı, kullanıcısı ve yeri ile olan ilişkileri tartışılmış ve bütün bu ilişkiler ağı etik - estetik açıdan incelenmiştir. Bu incelemelerin ışığında, biriciklik ve kitsch ekseninde hareket ettiği düşünülen mimarlık eyleminde, biricik, kitsch ve nitelikli örnekler aracılığı ile mimarlık eyleminin ürünü olarak mekanda etik - estetik birlikteliğinin izleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The dissertation analyzes the space as the product of architecture, the relationships formed by the overlapping of space, architect and user, and the interaction between the unity of ethics and aesthetics and the space through an interpretation of space, seeking the reflections of the unity of ethics and aesthetics on architecture. To this end, an overview of the unity of ethics and aesthetics has been provided first, followed by an analysis of the same through architecture. Then, the concept and history of space has been used as a starting point to investigate the development of space as a product of architecture, and the close connections of this development with philosophy. In the light of this investigation, the relationships of the space with its architect, user and location have been discussed, and this web of relations has been analyzed from an ethical-aesthetical perspective. Finally, architecture has been argued to be moving along the axes of authenticity and kitsch, and the traces of the unity of ethics and aesthetics in space as the product of architecture have been uncovered through authentic, kitsch and good examples.
