Abstract: Bu çalışmada, mevcut betonarme bir konut binasının, DBYBHY 2007 Bölüm 7’de belirtilen doğrusal elastik yöntemlerden Eşdeğer Deprem Yükü Yöntemi ve Zaman Tanım Alanında Dinamik Hesap Yöntemi ile analizi yapılmış, her 2 yönde deprem etkileri hesaplanmış ve karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuçta yapının performans durumu değerlendirilmiştir. Yapının doğrusal elastik performans analizi , SAP2000v14.2 programıyla yapılmış, sonuçlar eleman ve kat bazında değerlendirilmiştir. Doğrusal elastik teoriyi esas alan hesap yöntemi ile yapıya etkiyen deprem etkisi elastik sınırda kalacak şekilde yapı iç kuvvetlerinin artık kapasitelerine oranlarının kıyaslanması yoluyla değerlendirilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır.Son bölümde ise yapılan çalışmalar değerlendirilip karşılaştırılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar belirtilmiştir.
In this study, performance based assessment of a six story reinforced concrete building which is compatible with the 2007 Turkish Seismic Code is studied according to the linear elastic equivalent seismic load method and the linear elastic time history analysis methods. The objective of the this study was to determine the adequacy of the existing structure for Life Safety performance level as prescribed in 2007 Turkish Seismic Code. The concrete strength for the building was determined to be 8 MPa. In addition to this, 20Mpa concrete strength was used for camparing performance levels of the structure. 3D computer model for this structure, based on the available documents using SAP2000v14.2. Then, variaes performance analysis was conducted on it. In this study an assessment based on he linear elastic time history analysis method is also carried out and damage levels of structural elements are found and compared with the results from the linear elastic equivalent seismic load method that are defined in 2007 Turkish Seismic Code Chapter 7.One of the other chapter of the study provides information about structures and evaluation of performance-based design. In this chapter, the damage levels, performance levels and the multiple performance goals that are defined in 2007 Turkish Seismic Code Chapter 7 are summarized. This study, with the to linear elastic equivalent seismic load method and the linear elastic time history analysis methods that are explained in 2007 Turkish Seismic Code Chapter 7, it has been studied to evaluate the seismic performance of an existing reinforced concrete building. This building were found to not meet the earthquake resistance requirements of the 2007 Turkish Seismic Code for Life Safety Performance Objective.
