Abstract
Türkiye, geleneksel olarak bir pamuk üreticisi olması ve son yıllarda yapılan yatırımlar dolayısıyla, pamuk ipliği üretiminde, gerek ring ve gerekse de open end, güçlü bir konuma ulaşmıştır. Ancak Dünya ekonomik dengeleri ve bölgesel yatırım yoğunluğu, bu işletmelerin verimliliğine büyük önem vermeyi gerektirmektedir. Üretim verimliliğini arttırmanın ve planlama yapabilmenin en modern ve etkin yolu bilgisayar destekli veri toplama ve işleme yani işletme otomasyonudur. Bilişim teknolojilerinde ortaya çıkan baş döndürücü gelişmeler pamuk ipliği işletmelerine de yansımış ve işletme otomasyonuna yönelik değişik ticari sistemler geliştirilmiştir. Bu tez kapsamında, halen mevcut olan bu sistemler incelenmiş ve bu sistemlerin işletme verimliliğine katkısı, bu sistemin aynı işletmede kurulum öncesi ve sonrası işletmeden kalite parametrelerinin (iplik numarası, numara CV’si, düzgünsüzlük, ince yer sayısı, kalın yer sayısı, neps sayısı, mukavemet, mukavemet CV’si, kopma uzaması, kopma uzaması CV’si ve kopma işi) gerçek verileri elde edilmiş ve bu veriler istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiş ve kurulan sistemin etkisi ortaya konulmuştur. Aynı iplik kalite parametreleri kullanılarak, üç farklı teknolojik seviyede üretim yapan üç işletme de benzer istatistiksel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Sonuçlar göstermiştir ki teknolojik seviyesi en modern olan işletme, özellikle numara, numara CV’si, düzgünsüzlük, kalın yer sayısı, neps sayısı gibi önemli iplik kalite parametreleri bakımından Uster istatistiklerinde kendisini %5’lik kategoriye yerleştirirken, diğer işletmeler, bu parametreler bakımından %40’lık kategoriye girmektedir. Bu da önemli bir kalite iyileşmesini göstermektedir. Ancak tabii ki tüm bu iyileşmenin tamamen kalite isleme sistemden kaynaklandığını iddia etmek mümkün değildir.
As a traditional cotton producer, Turkey has recently made tremendous investments in spinning and hence reached a strong position in both ring and open end cotton spinning. However, the global economic balances as well as regional intensity of the investments forcing a cotton spinning plant to give high importance and priority to product quality and plant efficiency. In order to achieve high product qualities whilst staying competitive, a spinning plant has to make production planning and achieve the highest possible production efficiency. Both of these may be obtained computer aided data collection and processing, i.e., plant automation. Amazing developments experienced in information technologies have also influenced the cotton yarn spinning plants and hence many plant automation systems have been commercially offered to the benefit of cotton spinners. The most available systems have been investigated in this study, and the influence of these systems on the yarn quality as well as plant efficiency have been critically observed. The actual production yarn quality data such as yarn count, yarn count CV, irregularity, number of thin places, number of thick places, tenacity, tenacity CV, breaking elongation, breaking elongation CV and work of rupture have been collected from a spinning plant prior to and post installation of an on-line quality monitoring system. These data have been statistically processed and thus the influence of the on-line quality monitoring system has been observed. The analysis has shown that the plant which has both on-line quality monitoring system as well as the most modern spinning equipment has placed itself in 5% category in world wide Uster statistics, whilst the other two spinning plants studied has been in the 40% category. Of course, all of the quality excellence can not be credited to the on-line quality system. The technological level of the plant also contributes to this end.
