İstanbul İmajını Algılamaya Yönelik Bir Oyun Denemesi

Abstract

Kentli, kent ve kırsal alan ayrımını ortaya koyan esas bileşendir. İnsanın yaşadığı çevreye yönelik fiziksel müdahaleleri ile kentin sınırları oluşmaktadır. Her kentlinin yaşadığı çevreye ve algılarına dair zihninde oluşturduğu bir imaj vardır. Bu imajın, bireyin çevre içinde yaşadığı süreç boyunca kentle etkileşimini, kente dair algısını ve kent içi yönelimlerini belirlediği düşüncesi ile bu çalışmada yapılmak istenen, yaşanan kent İstanbul’un mevcut fiziksel, sosyal, kültürel ve tarihi durumlarına yönelik imajları şemalaştırmaktır. Yapılan bu şemalarla hazırlanabilecek bir oyunu, kenti tanımaya yeni başlayan, çevre bilinci gelişmemiş çocukların eğitiminde kullanmak mümkün olabilir. Bu durumun çevre bilinciyle gelişen çocukların kent deneyimlerini ve kente yaklaşımlarını geliştirebileceği düşünülmektedir.Citizens are the ones who differentiate the city from the rural lands, expose the natural and the physical situations which forms and limits the city. Citizens have a picture – image – on their mind about the city they are living in. The concentration of this image defines the intensity of individual’s behavioral pattern for urban conscious and interaction with his surroundings. Direction of this study is to form schemes aimed at summarizing the city. These schemes exposes the existing physical, social, cultural and historical structure of the city, and emphasizes the graphics of the city signs. With these schemes the aim of this study is to prepare a game for the children who have less information and knowledge according to the city. This is thought to help the children to be aware of their environment through their life time experience towards the city and improve their city image.
