Abstract
In this work, self organizations of different oligomers formed by substitution of poly(2-methyl-oxazoline) (POx), poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL), poly(styrene) (Ps) side chains phenylene rings, have been studied by molecular dynamics and mesoscale simulation methods. Oligomers have been modelled according to the experimental results. Monomers were optimized quantum mechanically and electrostatic potantial charges were determined. Mixing energy and interaction parameters have been calculated by using an extended Flory-Huggins Theory algorithm. This parameters have been converted into mesoscale simulation input. Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) is used for mesoscale simulations. In summary, phase seperations observed experimentally between side chains in AFM photographs due to hydrophilic and hydrophobic interactions is explained theoretically. By this way, experimental morphologies determined by AFM photographs in the microscopic scale were enlightened.
