Mimari Tasarımda Belirsizlik Ve Mimari Kurgu

Abstract

Tez çalışmasının konusu, belirsizlik kavramının mimari tasarım sürecindeki konumunun belirlenmesi ve mimari ürüne yansımasının mimarlık tarihi ve kuramı içerisinde araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmanın hedefi, mimarlığın, bilgi kaynağı arayışında farklı disiplinlerle ilişkisinin, tasarımın belirsiz yanıyla bağlantılandırılarak değerlendirilmesidir. Bu nedenle çalışma, belirsizlik kavramına, yaşantıdaki yerine ve bunun mimarlığa yansıma biçimlerine odaklanmıştır. Bu yansımaların değerlendirilebilmeleri için, Ortaçağ sonrası mimarlıkların dayandığı kurgular deşifre edilmeye çalışılmış ve kurguların tekrar eden özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Kesin doğru arayışına dayanan kurgu anlayışının mimarlık ürününe aktarılma biçimleri örnekler üzerinden açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Kesinlik arayışının, mimarlık pratiğinde bilimsel bilginin kullanılmasına özel önem atfedilmesiyle baskın duruma gelişi değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda amaç, belirsizliğin giderilmesi gereken kötü bir durum olmaktan çıkarak, mimari tasarımda kabul edilen bir olguya dönüşmesi sonrası yöneliminin tespit edilmesidir.Subject of the thesis is the examination of the concept “uncertainty” and the effect of it to the architectural object in architectural history and theory. The purpose of the study is the evaluation of architecture in relation with other disciplines in the search of a source for knowledge and the link between the ambiguity of architectural design. Therefore the study is focused on the concept of uncertainty and the reflection and impact of it on the forms of architecture. To evaluate the impacts, fictions of architecture – which are defined as the bases that architecture depends in order to eliminate the uncertainty of the process- are uncovered and the repeating characteristics are examined. The impacts of fictions depending on the search of a certain truth are expected to be defined on architectural productions. The acceptance of scientific knowledge as a source for architectural knowledge is evaluated through the idea of certainty. It is aimed to determine the tendencies through the gained conclusions after the acceptance of uncertainty as a fact rather than a situation which is expected to be disposed.
