Bosphorus Topluluğu’nun 1985-2000 Yılları Arasında Türkiye Ve Yunanistan’daki Etkileri

Abstract

İ.T.Ü. Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Türk Müziği programında yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanan bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, Bosphorus Topluluğu'nun 1985 yılında kurulduktan sonra, çağdaş Bosphorus ismi ile yeni bir oluşuma geçene kadar yaşanan süreç içerisinde, Yunanistan ve Türkiye'deki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu tez çalışmasında uygulanan yöntemler paralelinde, Bosphorus Topluluğu'nun Türk Müziği tarihinde ne denli önemli bir konumu olduğu vurgulanmaya çalışılmış; çok geniş bir zaman aralığı içerisinde unutulmaya yüz tutmuş, ortak kültürel mirasımızın temel taşlarını oluşturan Türk Müziği repertuarından sundukları başarılı icralar, tekrar kayıt altına alınmaya çalışılmıştır.This study was presented as a master?s thesis to the Turkish Music department of Istanbul Technical University?s Social Sciences Institute. It consists of four chapters and its objective is to analyze the cultural repercussions of the musical group the Bosphorus Ensemble in Greece and Turkey in the period following the group?s foundation in 1985 up to its recent restructuring under the name Contemporary Bosphorus. Along its dual methodology, this thesis seeks to stress the utmost importance of Bosphorus Ensemble in the history of the Turkish music. Accordingly, an effort has been undertaken to collect and rerecord their successful musical executions of nearly forgotten works from the Turkish musical repertory, which constitute the keystones of our common cultural heritage in a long time span.
