Turizmin Çevresel Etkilerinin Değerlendirilmesi Ve Çevre Duyarlı Sürdürülebilir Turizm Modeli

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın temelini, çevresel kaynak ve değerlerin niteliklerini kaybetmeden sürdürmesi oluşturmaktadır. Ekolojik dengeyi bozan olgular arasında, üretim süreçlerinin yanısıra turizm etkinlikleri de yer almaktadır. Turizm sektörünü oluşturan ögeler, doğal kaynaklar ile sosyo-kültürel ve tarihsel birikimlerdir. Turizm sektörünün ve kalkınmanın sürdürülebilirliği, her türlü çevre değerinin korunmasına bağlıdır. Çevresel değerlerin korunabilmesi için öncelikle çevre üzerine olan etkilerin belirlenmesi gerekir. Bu çalışmada, turizmin doğal ve sosyal çevre açılarından sürdürülebilirliği incelenmiştir. Türkiye nin en fazla turist çeken Antalya İli ne bağlı Manavgat yerleşmesinde yapılan anket çalışmasıyla turizmin doğal çevre ve sosyal çevre üzerindeki algılanan etkileri saptanmıştır. Turizm ve çevre etkileşimini belirlemek amacıyla ise matris yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular sunulmuş ve sürdürülebilir turizm politikaları önerilmiştirThe basis of sustainable development is formed by sustaining environmental resources and values without losing their characteristics. In addition to production processes, tourism activity is the phenomenon that spoils ecological balances. The factors that form tourism sector are natural resources and socio-cultural and historical accumulations. The sustainability of tourism sector and development depends on the protection of all types of environmental values. In order to protect environmental values, firstly their impact on environment must be determined. This study analyzes the sustainability of tourism from the point of view of natural and social environment. The questionnaire was applied in Manavgat settlement of Antalya province which attracts the most tourists of Turkey; in order to determine the perceived impact of tourism on natural environment and social environment. Matrix approach used to determine the interaction of tourism and environment. The findings of the research are presented and sustainable tourism policies are proposed.
