Kentsel Mekanda Estetik Değerler

Abstract

Bu çalışmada kentsel mekanların estetik potansiyellerinin dayandığı etkenleri ortaya çıkarmak için mekanlar tasarım kuralları doğrultusunda form karakteristikleri ve içerdikleri tasarım elemanları yönünden örneklerle incelenmiştir. Temel prensiplerin kavranabilmesi için öncelikle tanımlamalara yer verilmiştir. Burada görsel faktörler ve insanın estetik algılama ve güzel olarak nitelendirme şartlarının hangi koşullar altında oluştuğu önemlidir. İlkeler doğrultusunda geliştirilen ve uygulama alanında estetik algının ölçülmesinde kullanılmak üzere fiziksel ve psikolojik değerlendirmeye dayalı bir model oluşturulmuş, biçimsel kaynaklı tesbitlere yer verilmiştir. Tesbitler sonunda mekan içinde kullanıcıların estetik beklentilerden çok fonksiyonel ve rekreasyonel beklentiler içinde oldukları gözlemlenmiş, elde edilen bu sonuç yoğun kent yaşamı içinde aktif yeşil alanların yetersiz olmasıyla açıklanmıştır.In this study urban spaces are considered in case of their design process with the meanings of form characteristics and decoration elements so as to define the reasons for the aesthetic quality. The titles are thought by the examples but before some definitions are made about the basic concepts. The visual factors and the mechanism of asthetic perception of man is important in this case. According to these general accepts a model is created to be used in the application area which is based on physical and physicological evaluation. The formal assessments of the users consider the need for functional and recreational facilities rather than aesthetic meanings. The result is interrelated with the insufficient amount of active green areas in the dense and complex life of the city.
