Abstract
Bu çalışmada, sığ temellerin taşıma gücüne ilişkin doygun zemin mekaniği ve doygun olmayan zemin mekaniğine göre elde edilmiş yaklaşımlar incelenmiştir. Araştırma hem deneysel hem de sayısal analizlerden oluşmaktadır. Deneysel çalışmada kullanılan zeminlerin gerekli mühendislik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Sayısal analizlerde ise sonlu elemanlar yöntemi ile çözüm yapan GeoStudio Sigma-W 2007 programı kullanılarak farklı zemin türleri üzerinde, farklı durumlar için analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan analizlerde; zeminin tamamen kuru olduğu durum, tamamen doygun olduğu durum ve doygun olmayan zemin mekaniği kavramları ile yeraltı su seviyesinin yüzeyden temel genişliğini ve temel genişliğinin iki katı kadar aşağıda yer aldığı durumlar araştırılmıştır. Sonlu elemanlar analizlerinin sonuçları görsel olarak elde edilip, yorumlanmıştır.
In this study, bearing capacity of shallow foundations were investigated using saturated soil mechanics and unsaturated soil mechanics approaches. The research consists of both experimental and numerical analysis on specified samples. In experiment study, necessary engineering properties of soils used in the study were determined. In numerical analysis of the study, GeoStudio Sigma-W 2007 which is packaged software working with finite element method is used to analysis different soil types, different situations. This analysis is completed using the soil is completely dry state, the soil is completely saturated state and the soil is unsaturated state. In unsaturated soil analysis two scenarios are created. First, the ground water level is under the foundation equal to depth foundation width. Second, the ground water level is under the foundation depth equal to twice the width of foundation. Finite element analysis results are obtained and visually interpreted.
