Dekonstrüktivist Söylemin Avant-garde Bağlamda Tartışılması

Abstract

Dekonstrüktivist söylem, 1980 sonrasında mimarlık gündemine damgasını vurmuştur. Yapılan yorumlarda, bu oluşum sıklıkla Yüzyıl başındaki avant-garde sanatçılarla ilişkilendirilir. Fakat bu değerlendirmeler, çoğu zaman sınırlı değinmelerin ötesine geçmez. Söz konusu tez çalışması, bu noktaya yoğunlaşarak, “Dekonstrüktivizm’in avant-garde’la nasıl ilişkilendiği”, “dekonstrüktivist söylemin avant-garde tavır özellikleri taşıyıp taşımadığı” sorularından hareket eder. Çalışmada öncelikle, avant-garde üzerine yapılan çeşitli tanımlamalar ve yorumlar değerlendirilerek avant-garde tavır kavranır. Bu incelemenin ardından, avant-garde eğilimleri tartışmaya yönelik bir model önerilir. Bir sonraki aşamada ise, tez çalışmasının temeline oturan “dekonstrüktivist söylemin avant-garde tavır özellikleri taşıyıp taşımadığı” sorusunun yanıtı aranır. Bu aşamada Dekonstrüktivizm’in özgün örnekleri, geliştirilen model aracılığıyla değerlendirilir. Sonuç bölümünde ise, dekonstrüktivist söylem, avant-garde ve modern mimarlık olgularının birbirleriyle nasıl ilişkili oldukları tartışılır, ve modern mimarlığın hareketine ilişkin bir öneride bulunulur.After 1980, deconstructivism has deeply effected the architectural practice by its presence. Debates on this new formation, deconstructivist architecture has been related with the avant-garde movement of the 1920’s. However those have not gone further than limited comments. This work focuses on this point, and departs from the questions like; “how can deconstructivism related with avant-garde?” and “how deconstructivist rhetoric exposes avant-garde attitudes or behavioural settings?”. After stating the problem, various explanations and definitions of avant-garde has examined in the work. After this examination, a model which combines these definitions, has proposed. On the following step, this proposal model has used to debate the major questions of the work, by criticising the selected projects of deconstructivist architecture. On the final step, the relation between avant-garde, deconstructivist rhetoric, and modern architecture has criticised, and a final proposal has been stated about the movement of modern architecture.
