Synthesis of Some Organometallic Compounds of 1,2-Acenaphthylenedione Dioxime and Comparision with 812Model Compounds

Abstract

Abstract In this work the synthesis of Co(II), Co(III), Pt(II), Pd(II) and Pt(IV) complexes of 1,2-acenaphthylenedione dioxime (ADDH2) are reported. Several organometallic Co(III) complexes which are the reaction products of the reduced Co(I) complex of ADDH2 are compared with dimethylglyoximatocobalt analogs. The structures of these compounds have been elucidated by conventional methods.
