Abstract
Dünyada artan nüfus ve gelişen teknolojiye bağlı olarak enerji gereksinimi sürekli artmakta ve mevcut, rezervleri sınırlı enerji kaynakları giderek azalmaktadır. Ülkemiz enerji tüketiminin önemli bir bölümünü dışalım ile karşılayan ve ulusal enerji kaynaklarını en verimli biçimde kullanmak zorunda olan bir ülkedir. Türkiye’de hem artan enerji dışalımının azaltılması, hem de enerji ve çevre sorununa sürdürülebilirlik ilkesi ile yaklaşılması açılarından yeni-yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları kullanımı gereklidir. Yeni-yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları arasında biyokütle geniş potansiyeli ve çok sayıda değerlendirme seçeneğiyle ön plana çıkmaktadır. Günümüzde piroliz, biyokütle enerji teknolojileri içinde en çok tercih edilen yöntemlerden biridir. Bu çalışmada kolza küspesinin sabit yatak pirolizi incelenmiştir. Kolza küspesi pirolizi 500°C sıcaklık ve 7°C/dakika ısıtma hızı koşullarında statik ortamda ve sürükleyici gaz ortamında (50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 cm3/dakika azot debisi) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Pirolizden elde edilen katran ve charın tanımlamaları yapılarak, değerlendirme seçenekleri ortaya konmuştur.
The need for energy have been increasing sharply due to the rapid increase in world population and developing technology, and the present energy sources that have limited reserves have been decreasing. A big amount of energy consumption of Turkey is supported by importation and Turkey must use national energy sources efficiently. In order to alleviate the increasing import burden in energy and adapt a sustainable approach towards energy and environmental issues, the mobilization of new and renewable energy resources should be undertaken. Among new-renewable energy sources, the biomass is becoming popular with its wide potential and its abundant usage. Among the processes of energy production from biomass, pyrolysis is one of the most popular. In this study, the fixed bed pyrolysis of the rapeseed cake has been investigated. At 7°C min-1 heating rate and 500°C final temperature, under the conditions of static and sweep gas (at nitrogen flow velocity of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 cm3 min-1), experiments of the fixed bed pyrolysis were performed. The usage alternatives were presented by making definitions for tar and char obtained from pyrolysis.
