Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin farklı yörelerinden toplanmış olan 5 kireçtaşı numunesinin yaş desülfürizasyon sistemindeki sülfatasyon kapasiteleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, bu sistemlerde SO2 giderme verimini artırmak amacıyla kullanılan çeşitli katkı maddelerinin etkileri her bir kireçtaşı için incelenmiştir. Kireçtaşı çözeltilerinin toplam sülfatasyon kapasiteleri kireçtaşının kimyasal bileşimine bağlı olarak 14.00-18.80 mg SO3-2/ml aralığında değişmiştir. Kireçtaşı çözeltilerine ilave edilen magnezyum ve sodyum bileşiklerinin çözeltinin sülfatasyon kapasitesine olan etkileri farklı olmuştur.
In this study, the sulphation capacity of 5 limestone originating from different parts of Turkey was determined in a wet desulphurization system. Also, the effect of different additives that have been used to improve SO2 removal efficiency in these systems was investigated for each limestone. The total sulphation capacities of limestone slurries ranged from 14.00-18.80 mg SO3-2/ml depending on the chemical composition of limestone. The total sulphation capacities of limestone slurries were effected differently by addition of magnesium and sodium compounds to the slurry.
