An approximate method for pumping test analysis in non-penetrating wells

Abstract

Abstract An approximate solution has been obtained for the pumping test analysis in a finite diameter non-penetrating well discharging at a constant rate from a homogeneous, isotropic and extensively thick artesian aquifer. The well storage has been taken into account. A set of type curves has been developed for determining the specific storage and the hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer.
